When Men of War Vietnam Launched recently, the 1C MoW forum had one major complaint from the fans, the lack of an editor like previous versions of the game. Well all those threads can be locked now, 1C has just announced that the editor is now available.
1C Company has today announced an update for the newest Men of War game in the series, Vietnam. The new update adds full editing capabilities to the game so players can now create their own scenarios and maps. While the game has hours of gameplay and editor goes a long way in allowing the community to add even more content to the game through customisation and the best thing for games since multiplayer, mod support.
The Men of War series is brutal, which is why I love it. While other games you can play with one hand behind your back on “Hard” setting, Men of War you need patience, time and 16 hands. While I loved that part of the game, others must not have as the update also lowers the games difficulty settings on Easy and Normal levels. Both campaigns will likewise be available from the start of the game allowing new players a choice from the beginning who they want to fight. The other update which is great news is it looks like they have fixed the de-synchronization issues in multiplayer games when played between different versions of the game.

Customers who bought or activated the game on Steam will see their hard-earned in-game achievements are now synchronized with Steam’s achievements, while owners of Men of War: Vietnam Special Edition will also benefit from fixes to the bonus missions available in their version of the game.
