Class 3 was a CryEngine based Zombie game that was coming to Xbox. Though according to the latest Undead Labs post on their site, the game will now be ported over to the PC too. So for those of you that cant get enough of your Zombie games, you have more to look forward to now.
According to the Undead Labs post, the basic the basic development of the game is now out of the way and they are onto the polish phase of of the game. As that was the main priority for launch and things are coming along, they have announced that a PC launch for Class 3 will be coming soon after that.
One can only assume that due to using XNA as the development kit, porting between a XBLA game and a PC game is much easier as the kit allows for ports in a manner that is a lot easier than having to build a PC version from the ground up. Though this is where other issues also come along.
One only has to look at ports of other console games to see the issues that come along with it. Anything from mouse acceleration issues to the lack of graphics customisations that PC gamers love. I guess we wait and see now.
