While they are out to make money like any other company, IMO they do it in a respectful way, which in turn has one them the respect and loyalty of many gamers world wide, which has in turn, earned them lots of $$$ :)

I do think that Diablo 3′s RMT has something to do with Valve opening this up as well. At first I hated the idea of it but the more i think about it the better the idea gets.
