Pound For Pound Coming in November to IPhone

Abu Dhabi based developer Karkadann Games has just announced that their new game Pound for pound will be out in November on the IPhones App store. The game will feature Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Dapidran Pacquiao, the Filipino professional boxer and will be out for Android soon after.

We only recently came across Karkadann so we thought it would be good to give them and their new game some coverage here on Muslim Gamer. If your wondering who Emmanuel is, he is the first eight-division world champion; having won six world titles, as well as the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He was named “Fighter of the Decade” for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) and he is also a three-time The Ring and BWAA “Fighter of the Year”, winning the award in 2006, 2008, and 2009. So in other words, I would highly recommend you don’t take his fries without asking him first.

As for the game, Pound for Pound is a new action fighting game which will be released initially for iOS devices, and later on Android, for $2.99. A version of the game will also be released on Facebook at a later date too.
Pound for Pound features 3D-rendered graphics, accessible game mechanics, and a deep storyline that sends Manny into the underground fighting pits in search of a kidnapped friend. Gamers will execute Manny’s combination of pummeling punches against enemies in addition to an arsenal of martial arts fighting techniques and combos. To play gamers will have to swipe the screen in various directions to unleash and dodge attacks, and defeat an army of minions and bosses. Gaining experience will further your progress in the game, unlocking skill points and item upgrades that will improve Manny’s fighting power and his chance of overcoming corruption.
