NCsoft has just announced that Guild Wars – Winds of Change is receiving its second chapter, the largest free content expansion in Guild Wars to date. Guild Wars was released in 2005 and its still going strong as this release will be adding a tonne of new quests and zones to the game.

We have mixed feelings for the Witcher 2 here. Its a great game but unfortunately it has a low halalability score due to some of the content. On the other hand CDProjekt was great in the way they handled their previous patch – the incident with the sajadaah- prayer mat in the game, making the game slightly more Muslim friendly. Well a new patch is incoming and we have the details below.

Im sure you have heard about the Minecraft developers run in with Bethesda. A little while ago Bethesda’s lawyers decided that Mojang’s other project, “Scrolls”, was in fact infringing upon their clients trademark in regards to Elder Scroll V: Skyrim. Notch took things well and despite having received a 15 page letter from the men in suits, he was tweeting and blogging that he was sure it would be fine. Well it kind of isnt and it looks like they are going to court now.

Orcs Must Die! title kind of says it all really doesn’t it? Think tower defence but in a third person view, add a bunch upgrade paths for your weapons and a tonne of ways to…well….kill orcs! The guys over at Robot Entertainment have been working away on this for a while and as the release date is getting closer we thought we would shine a bit of light on this little creeper of a game.

I never thought I would see this one. Niko Bellic doing Jamaat salaat together with Altair from Assassins Creed, in Grand Theft Auto, in Indonesia. Yep, you read that right. I just came across Nuclear Dawn and it looks like it could be very interesting indeed, it seems to mix the two of the game styles we love here, First Person Shooter with elements of RTS thrown in for good measure, and its based off of the source engine. 3 out of 3 ticks so far.

The guys over at Frozenbyte have released a new video showing some very cool gameplay in regards to the puzzles in Trine 2. What caught my eye in the latest video were the colours and the scenery in the game, it almost took away from the puzzles as you just admire the backgrounds!

Dota 2 was on plan to spend the next year in its Beta stages. With Valve time that probably meant more than a year. But alas it looks like the community has been screaming loud enough to push Valve into getting their hands on the game earlier and it looks like Valve is all too happy to oblige.

One of the reasons a lot of gamers and non gamers purchased the PS3 was due to the “Other OS” feature of the PS3, the ability to install linux or other operating systems on the console. Funnily enough, that particular feature, which Sony screamed loud and proud about, was later removed in an update. This resulted in a class action law suit against Sony as buyers wanted back what was rightfully theirs. Well in the latest update to the story, Sony are being very a little sneaky in trying to gain the upper hand.
