The devs over at Semaphore have recently released a new trailer for their upcoming title “Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta”. Unfortunately there isnt much in the way of  information int he new video as it is more about the supported languages, which it has many.

As the first major free update to City of Heroes Freedom since launching as a successful Free-To-Play title, Issue 22: Death Incarnate introduces a massive amount of new content including new powers, costumes, VIP-member content and endgame trials.

A few weeks ago we let you know about the Virgin\EA BF3 tournament that was giving away a bunch of cash. Well now it looks like the sports games are getting their turn as EA have just announced the Sports game tournament exclusive to PS3.

We have just come across these Muslim developers who have released a new game for the Iphone recently “Eliminator”. The game is a science fiction top down 3D shooter with some nice looking graphics.

Capcom has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Devil May Cry game due for release in 2012. Set against a contemporary backdrop, Devil May Cry depicts a duplicitous world where nothing is ever as it seems and the line between good and evil is constantly blurred.

Hidden Path Entertainment has today announced that Defense Grid: You Monster, the first full story expansion of the award-winning game, will be available for download from both Steam and Xbox LIVE Arcade on December 7, 2011.

One of the reasons I went with a full Eyefinity and G940 HOTAS setup was for flight sims. I love them. Its definitely an acquired taste but its a nice one at that. Everyone playing Bf3 is well aware of how annoying the sun glare is in the game. A lot of people are also aware of the recent community made FXAA injectors made available to Skyrim PC players that improved the graphics of the game. Well now the same improvements are available to Battlefield 3 players, but install and play at your own risk..

Zombies are all the rage these days, movies, games, TV series you name it, zombies are in it. One of the more recent Zombie games that had a decent amount of success was Killing floor and if you havent tried it yet, then heres your chance to do it for free.

Fans of the Victoria and Europa Universalis series of games may be happy at the news of Magna Mundi beta applications now being available. Paradox Interactive and Universo Virtual have today revealed details of a limited closed beta for the game, a Grand Strategy game for the PC set for a release in Q1 2012.

I remember back when I used to go to the arcades to get my gaming fix there was a chopper game I spent many a dollars on. The aim was to put out fires on top of buildings as you rescued people and fought off the wind. Well this looks  a bit different as my game didnt have zombies!

We’re all giddy with developers having returned from the “Developer” 2011 conference and what a way to get back into the news than with Frozenbyte. For those that haven’t played it yet, Trine 2 is looking truly amazing as it nears its release date in December. The team has just released a making of Video which we have for you below.

I had the pleasure of attending the game ‘Developer Conference’ 24th of November 2011 in Liverpool. A great event that I can recommend to anyone out there. You get access to a a lot of influential people from the major developers\ publishers as well as some great Indie developers too. This year speakers included  ‘Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide/Europe’,  ‘Electronic Arts’, ‘Blitz Games’ and ‘Slightly Mad Studios’ to name just a few, and of course MuslimGamer.com was there to bring back the news for you. Over the next week, Ill be writing articles on the sessions I got to attend and hopefully show you how great these kind of events are for those interested in not only gaming, but what goes on behind the scenes too .

Back before Battlefield 3 launched, EA and Dice promised BF3 owners Battlefield 1943 together with the game. though something happened soon after and they decided that they would no longer give the promised game but instead, they would be giving PS3 owners the Karkand Expansion 1 week early. As expected, PS3 owners weren’t too happy.

I have been a fan of remote control cars and planes for a while….when it comes down to it, which guy isnt? So when I came across this quad copter I was blown away by the agility and the speed of this thing.

Counter Strike fans now have a date to look forward to, well those of you that have a beta key anyway. Valve recently  tweeted the date of November 30 for the opening of the beta.

One of the best things about PC gaming is the fact that on the majority of games, modding the game to your tastes can be achieved without too much dificulty. Even on games that haven’t been designed to be modded, the community usually finds a way. Well it seems like Steam and Bethesda have just teamed up and patched Skyrim adding nothing to the game, in fact they took stuff away.

CRYTEK have been on a bit of a winning streak lately with the CRYENGINE 3. Several developers and animators have announced that they will be liscensing the engine to create their products throughout 2012. The one we have taken notice of however is MechWarrior Online.

I try and stay up to date with encryption news and who is doing what, both for and against. So I was surprised when I came across this bit of news which I hadnt seen before, even though it looks like it has been known fora while. It looks like some printers may actually be printing serial numbers and other information onto each document you print.

Data encryption is no longer the speciality of spies and governments worldwide. For years now the average Ahmad has been able to encypt and self destruct their hard drives and data at home. Well now it seems the US Govt. isnt too happy about it.

Yet another game MMORPG that joins the free to play ranks. I am personaly  excited about this one as it has features that I really like about an MMORPG. You can kill anybody and that includes same race kills. You can declare war on other Clans and conquer fortresses. It reminds me of EVE Online… (with the exception of kill boards and space ships) I am definitely going to be checking this one out. Check out the announcement and trailer below.

As we stand in the last few days of its release date, Assassin’s Creed fans may finally rejoice on Tuesday. It has been announced that it is the last game to feature Ezio Auditore da Firenze and AltaïrIbn La’Ahad, though players can also look forward to a unique multiplayer experience.
