I was playing this to get my coal for the day and i was really surprised at how much i enjoyed the game! I tried lol and never got into it but for some reason i kept playing this even after i got the coal. I havent played lol in a while so i cant even remember what the differences are but if anyone wants to have a game let me know!

While I personally don't like the game, I'll point out this fun fact: Petroglyph Games, the studio that made RoI, was one of the studios that formed in the wake of the dissolution of Westwood Studios.

lol I watched a gameplay video for this game and...lol to be honest...I dont know how you didnt get into LoL - its essentially the same. I mean it seems to play more like DotA2 (which I havent played myself in a while cuz of all my other games) but all the same. lol is there something in particular you liked about RotI? (I still stand by my hatred for F2P games so...)

roketfiq im not sure why i didnt enjoy LoL either tbh. Its been so long that i cant even remember why myself. Thulfiqaar was saying that he noticed the gameplay was slower than LoL so maybe I found it easier to play? The other thing might have been that it was the first moba game that i played , so i had no idea what i was doing and just kept getting pwned. So that probably put me off too?

LoL is actually the first DotA variant that I played myself but I was in the beta and most people were new so I had a good time. I actually only stopped playing cuz it was F2P and I had so many other games I needed to play cuz I bought them. What surprises me the most about LoL is that it made the big time. They legit tournaments for the game and prizes to go with it. It really became a big esport game.

i played lol at that time. They payed to be included in the tournament for publicity. It was a business move.
