I want to know what are your opinions on this game because I really want to play it. keep low on the spoilers

Gameplay wise it's a bit more streamlined then the first. You know longer have to carry around armor and weapon, you just level up to improve everything. If you've played the first one, you know what kind of quality to expect from the story and character writing. Combat is also very familiar. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Have you played the first one? There's a bit of backstory that's not explained in the second, plus the game selects the decisions that took place first one as defaults in a new game unless you import the save file.

im getting it on PS3 so no I will not play part 1 but I get a digital comic to explain the back story

It depends what kind of games you like. Personally, I did not play the first, and thoroughly enjoyed the second. It's one of those games that you'll put a lot of time into (that is if you want the full experience, you might even wanna play it twice), and by the end of it you'll be really upset that it's over. You have a lot of control over how the story plays out.

Combat in the game is amazing and requires a lot of strategy (especially if you decide to play on insanity like I did lol). But what I love is that the combat is only a fraction of what you can do in the game. I would suggest looking at some gameplay videos on youtube and seeing for yourself. But if you want my personal opinion, GET IT!!

Bought this a while back on the PS3 as well and can't recommend it enough, can't wait for Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are one of the best games out there. Quality control:
Epic story? Check
Epic Gameplay? Check
Open Ending? Check
Replayability? Check

totally agree, with the right honorable Thulfiqaar, if you want top play a game which looks like a movie with shooty bits and an epic story this is the game for you.

Yea, the game is long. And I guess this month wasn't the best time to start it but I really hope you pick it back up

Honestly the last 2 months and the next 2 months are like gmae overdose! There are just too many games to play and I feel like im in a smothered relationship, just back off publishers, just back off!!!

I went from buying lots of games to holding off now too as I know the sales are about to start and i will go overboard on $5 games

@s0ndosodn0s true not the best time to start mass effect, I rather play new games. I hope to get back into it but I don't think its any time soon.
@gengis At first I was happy that so many top games are coming out, but I realised after I bought them that how the hell am I going to give all these games proper time to finish
