ORION: Dino Beatdown is an upcoming team-based multiplayer shooter for the PC. Players take control of guys using jetpacks who face waves of dinosaurs, and have to shoot them all in their pointy little faces.

Not that all the faces are little. As you'll see in the clip above.

It's being worked on by Spiral Game Studios, a new developer made up of people whose credits include titles such as Unreal Tournament, BioShock, Borderlands, Jade Empire, Halo, Mortal Kombat and...Forza. If you think the name, and the premise, sounds familiar, that's because they're the same guys working on Orion: Prelude. Which is also about shooting dinosaurs.

Seems the game launched today. It's plagued with bugs which will supposedly be fixed in a patch Monday. It's -10% right now... $8.99 USD. A four pack it $26.99. The -10% deal will last until the 11th.

Assuming they manage to fix the major bugs on Monday, would anyone want to go in on a four pack with an extra copy to give away for a competition here (or something)?
