Well well well.... How does it feel to not have MG for a few days

What happened?
I broke stuff...lots of stuff...really really really good!

Well did you fix it?
Kind of. PM's are still not working, but i have enabled emails in the meantime (click on a persons name, then click email)
@ no longer works for now either. I think i know what is causing it so ill keep working on it inshAllah

So is everything working now?
Apart from and PM's inshAllah yes, let me know if you find anything else that isnt working. Please clear your cache as that should refresh to the latest version of the forums.

So was it worth it?

• Here are your new toys (the things that broke the forums )
• Better optimised for seacrh engines so more people can find Muslim Gamer!
• On the main page you can now see how many randoms have been here over the last 24 hours rather than 5 minutes
• You can now go into your settings page and select your country flag, this will show on the main page the obvious...we have been over run by brits!
• All links will now open in new windows rather than the same window
• Images are now scaled better and should show up and resize automagically
• Post counts now directly link to users posts
• All our social media stuff and servers uptop
• Can now join our Teamspeak server by clicking on t he logo up top

the problem was that when we saw the message, the option was not in the settings

Please clear your cache too as things have changed and you might still be getting old versions of stuff. The message asking you to set your flag should no longer be showing up as i removed it.

I was saying before that inshAllah once we move to the new server in a few weeks and i get the new logo up, the beta logo will come down and MG will officially be up and running

I disapprove of links opening in a new window. Let the user decide; if it doesn't, those of us who don't like it can force a new window, but if you force it, those of us who don't like it can't tell our browsers "open it in the same window."

What's the deal with national flags? I thought "Inna al-muslimeena ikhwah." We need a shahadah flag

While I understand what you mean Ashes999, Personally I prefer the opening in new window because i hate having to constantly right click and open in a new tab. Look at my post count... now times that the amount of time that by the amount of times I have to right click and open in a new tab. That's how many more clicks I have to do lol.

It's only a small matter but I prefer it. At the end of the day it's what the majority of the users prefer. If majority prefers it to go back then fair enough, but if they prefer it to open in a new window then good for me
