Battlefield 3: XBOX 360 Controller on PC?

No, I'm not talking about the regular controls for when you are walking around (although you can as it is automatically detected), but rather I am referring to the jet (and helicopter if you like). It is amazing!

So if you need a controller to fly a jet because the keyboard is giving you trouble, I recommend the 360 controller for PC!

Yeah i do this when i fly jets, its making you better at flying and the jet feels more responsive.

I have an Xbox 360 control but aside from setting it on the top of my feet and letting it vibrate, I don't use it much. Normally I'd say my trackballs good enough, but I think I'll give it a shot now.

Having used the XBOX Controller all my life and not being able to adjust to a K/b + Mouse I just use the controller anyway. Flying is much better with analogue sticks.

Not fully converted as I still have love for my console brethren's.

It's not a super nice machine like what you guys rock with but it will do. I did buy a HD7850 but sent it back as it was faulty.

I'm not very good on the PC but I will join you all for some Battlefield games. I don't have the Back to Kakand maps though. I don't want to give EA anymore money than I already have.

Its just maps that defined Battlefield 2. If you don't get them don't worry. Caspian Border and Operation Firestorm are very good Air /Vehicle maps. Operation Metro, Grand Bazaar, Noshahr Canals for Infantry. Ones I missed are good too.
