    Anonymous 1 – Syrian Government 0

Last night Anonymous added another task completed tick to their to do list by taking down the Syrian Ministry of Defense website. While they were there they defaced the site and left the attached image showing screenshots of videos by those involved in the uprising and a message to the people of Syria in both English and Arabic.
For several months now the Syrian government has been brutally killing its own people as the citizens demand an end to Assad’s regime. Even as the international community has been calling an end to the violence, just yesterday Syrian troops were again on a rampage killing over 50.

Just this week I was reading how many editors were complaining about Anonymous being “all talk and no action”, where they would be claiming to do so many things, yet rarely ever coming out with real attacks. Well it may be some spoke a little too soon as this week they have released 10GB of data from US law enforcement and also brought down the Syrian Ministry of Defense website.

"The world stands with you against the brutal regime of Bashar Al-Assad.
Know that time and history are on your side - tyrants use violence
because they have nothing else, and the more violent they are, the more
fragile they become," the message said. "We salute your determination to
be non-violent in the face of the regime's brutality, and admire your
willingness to pursue justice, not mere revenge."

"To the Syrian military: you are responsible for protecting the Syrian
people, and anyone who orders you to kill women, children and the
elderly deserves to be tried for treason, No outside enemy could do as
much damage to Syria as Bashar Al-Assad has done. Defend your country
    - rise up against the regime!"

Links to other websites, including the Syrian Revolution Facebook page, Al Jazeera’s Syria liveblog, Amnesty International and several others, were also added to the page.

The unfortunate thing is its Ramadan and this is what Assad is doing. You cant expect much from a dictator but I would have thought that at least during Ramadan any Muslim that has the slightest understanding of Ramadan would hold back during a time like this. May Allah help all the brothers and sisters in Syria and Libya during this testing time.
