Salam, I'm a huge JRPG fan, haha.
I'll just list the next-gen JRPGs I've played:
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3+X360) - Squeenix is on a downhill trend, but this game is sort of fun regardless. It's definitely not 'FF quality', and it's more fun to watch than play, to be brutally honest. Amazing visuals, not so amazing storyline.
Resonance of Fate (PS3+X360) - Solid, ~40 hour game. Has a very unique battle system, but it ultimately plays similarly to Final Fantasy 13. If you enjoyed that, you'll love this.
Magna Carta 2 (X360) - This is actually a Korean action RPG, so none of that turn-based stuff. Quirky humor, interesting (if a bit cliched) storyline, and an engaging battle system make this my personal favorite next-gen RPG.
Tales of Vesperia (X360) - Amazing action rpg series, and this is no exception. Storyline is a bit disjointed, like pretty much all Tales games, but the forte of this game is the massive comboing and unique playstyles of each character. Also, this one is multiplayer, and up to 4 people can play (however, the grinding in this game is tedious and the other 3 players have nothing to do when you're in a town or on the world map). This game has a lot of cool aesthetics, and awesome graphics. Highly recommend.
I recently picked up Enchanted Arms and Infinite Undiscovery at great prices, but haven't had much time to get around to them lately x.x
