Kaba should have a 2-5km exclusion zone where no cars, hotels building etc are allowed. One can only dream...

They're gonna have to remove the surroundings sooner or later. just like they did a few years ago.

mashAllah every year is getting bigger and bigger, i dont so much have a problem with people making some money off of hajj. The people of Mecca and Madina do have to put up with millions of people each year. But the fact that directly around Kaaba itself has become a mall with skyscrapers around it is what hurt me the most. Having a 2km exclusion zone where only busses\trains\trams are allowed in and out would have been much better. As it is, its a shame that its so.....ugly around kaaba.

I don't mind the design of the clock tower but so huge that its over shadowing the Kaaba it hurts!
