Wow that's insane. I got into Civ 5, and it was the first one I played in the series

so in Civ 2, it just keeps going on and on? it doesn't stop at a specific date to check for scientific victory or cultural?
or is it that he turned those options off...

the official victory happened along time ago but he decided to keep going. its like in a total war game you can win and then keep going to conquer the world.

I have never finished any of my games, and always make new ones. I always forget what i was planning to do

I dont know i have civ 3 and 5 and never finished id reccomend reading the manual or googling.

Edit: We should play civ 5 together.

lol I KNEW someone was going to make me...gah! Whyyyyyyyyy. I dont wanna reaaaaaaad. I wanna be home playing BF3...damn it. Or Shogun 2...Im at war with 3 clans. the Mori have the north western sector, the Hojo have been pushed from all adjacent territories with my ally to the east and the Shimazu are creating trouble to the far west I started the war with them and now they're people are being stubborn and not converting to my religion...AND...I need more of a fleet.
