Killzone 3 Multiplayer goes Free to Play

According to the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast, in an effort to "keep that multiplayer mode out there and active," Sony and Guerrilla Games will release the standalone Killzone 3 multiplayer mode with all of its maps for free.

*The free-to-play multiplayer mode for Killzone 3 comes with a limitation however, an unidentified level cap. There will be some sort of limitation on what rank players can achieve in free-to-play mode and a limit on the number of skills and unlockable weapons that come with those higher rankings.

Starting from next week!

I guess this still means you'll be able to play after you reach the cap but without leveling up, right?
Anyway this has never happened to us PS3 players and i'm really happy to see sony doing so
Too bad I already own the game.

Playing killzone on splitscreen is absolutely horrible. I can hardly make out anything. I don't know how anybody can play like that. And my TV screen is quite big mind you.

Online multiplayer is much better I suppose, Never tried it though. Maybe I should give it a try

Lol I would like to some day start playing on PS3 a bit more but for some reason, my pc has a higher priority

it is truly one of the best games on ps3. you will enjoy the multi player experience

I have killzone 2 but still never got into it, the controls were too slow for me, but I gotta get in on that series I heard so much good about it.
