    Colour Scheme

    Postby aloo » 29 Jun 2012, 03:21

    As salaam aleykum

This is a good site and all, but the forum colour scheme of black and white makes it kinda hard to read.

I think a light background and a dark font (invert the colours of the forum) would make the forum easy on the eyes. Just a suggestion.

    Wa alaikum al salaam brother,

Whilst I second the idea of having the option to choose a theme, I personally love the current theme and wouldn't like it inverted :P but of course in the end it's Gengis's decision
    Peace :D

I think gengis if he can have an alternative color schemes stored so people can choose them via profile. The person will see the changes, everyone else will still see the default color scheme.

Then this colour is perfect a Bright colour will strain your eyes and damage them.

jazakAllah khair for the feedback aloo and welcome to MG :) I have thought about reversing the colour scheme for those that prefer the white with the black rather than black with the white. I personally prefer the dark theme but i guess everyone's taste is different.

This is actually possible to implement but its just a lot of work as I have to redesign everything all over again to get a new colour scheme. InshAllah once other things have been finished off around the site I will implement it. Most likely as part of the "reward" system, so once you have enough credits through posting and being an active member on the site, you will have the option to change the colour scheme.
