Re: New Guy - Still Looking for a Dev Partner to form team

Mustardy Haxe is not really mature enough to use. We're using libGDX this time around (same thing we used for Find the Harf).

Deen Games Summer of Code 2013

As-salaamu 'alikum, Many of you are familiar with Quest for the Royal Jelly, which we built last year. This year, we're doing the same thing again -- using the summer to build a game. I invite you all to partake in our first (second?) "Season/Summer of code" for Deen Games. If you're inter...

Re: Suggestion Reading Qur'an for the deceased

Here we go again ... I'm stepping in because this is a sensitive topic that needs to be dealt with properly, pluralistically. Hence, I materialize from the void once more. Please treat this topic respectfully. What do you guys think? Is it OK across all beliefs within Islam? May Allah bless you for ...

    Re: Fiqh reading

Maybe you can do the main post on the post site; and post a forum post for "Questions on X" (eg. "Questions on Tahara" for this week).

That seems to be more effective than engaging people in comments.

    Good initiative mashaAllah.

Abrar, will you be continuing to post here AND on the MG news section, or just here?

    Re: Farewell, MG

As-salaamu 'alikum, A lot of people have approached me about this individually. It seems that there is something of a misundersanding about why I'm leaving MG. It has little to do with da'wah focus, and more to do with MG itself as a pluralistic Muslim community. The community itself lives in a mult...

    Re: Farewell, MG

gengis you were aware of all issues throughout. I sent you several emails, PMs, and camped out on Steam for you. There was always something else higher priority on your plate (not surprising, considering all the stuff you do for MG). Reply to my emails, if you want to discuss it. [quote="Kouba...

    Farewell, MG

As-salaamu 'alikum wa rahmatullah, After much prodding, I decided to post this. I will no longer be around on the MG forums. Simply put, I joined MG purely to give you guys da'wah and pull you up in deen. However, I didn't realize that not only is MG is not suited to da'wah and talking, really talki...

Re: This one is for the married folks

To clarify my answer, as scholars say, "there is no shyness in deen." However, MG forums is not necessarily the place for all types of topics; nor indeed for even semi-serious learning. That's why I stopped spamming the Islamic sub-forum with monthly topics.

Re: Tonight is Laylat al-Bara’at, less games more Deen inshA

Easy there, homies. Lets understand this from a comprehensive, pluralistic perspective, as we should. There's a long, detailed, comprehensive study of this issue here: http://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/1203/special-worship-on-the-night-of-mid-shaban The summary is: there is no authentic hadit...
