As May 25 hits, Dirt Showdown will be available in stores. To coincide with the launch, Codemasters has announced a new trailer and some updates to RaceNet
Codemasters has said that since the demo launched earlier this month players have so far:
- Destroyed over three million cars in crashes
- Driven over five million miles
- Boosted for over 2000 days
RaceNet, which is the latest in the “lets make our own network and platform” effort from Codemasters is in beta and was released around the same time as the demo for Showdown.

The latest update will include players being invited to take part in regular community challenges and RaceNet events as well as the ability to add other RaceNet members as friends. Much like other similar platforms, you will be able to compare best times and scores with their friends across a range of game modes. To take part, head over to www.racenet.com to register
The game will be available for Xbox, Playstation and PC
