Brother Ali The Champion! – Interview on 30 Mosques

Brother Ali – The Champion! If you haven’t heard of Br Ali its best you YouTube that name right now. A site I have been keeping an eye on this Ramadan has posted an interview with Br Ali so I thought I would plug the site and the interview in one go here.

30 Mosques 30 States 30 Days is a great site I came across a few days ago.  The 2 brothers Aman Ali and Bassam have decided to take a road trip across the United States visiting, you guessed it 30 Mosques in 30 days.  On day 9 they visited Minnesota which of course is the home of Brother Ali!

It was great to hear about the the other side of Brother Ali as its usually the hip hop sites that I need to get the info from. I loved how they got the interview done before Taraweeh (Ramadan Prayer) and it was great to see his son Faheem there with him, which Br Ali speaks about in so many of his early tracks. I got to meet him a few years ago when he came to Australia and Insh’Allah I can meet him next time he is down too.
